I know that I am new here, and to Football Manager as a whole, but I think I have an interesting challenge for everyone, one which will appeal to both die hard and even novice players.

When I used to play Hattrick, there was a little competition everyone used to play... getting icons on their profile for having played friendlies against teams from different nations, with many people ending up with a huge percentage of the globe (perhaps even every nation in Hattrick to that point) covered in their team's travels.

With the sheer number of national football leagues available in the game, it seemed like it might be fun to start a challenge replicating that with a little bit looser rules.

The basic challenge would be to play a club from every nation in the world, and I think that since you can manage a national team (I think, you can correct me if I am wrong), that games against other national teams count for this challenge.

And I don't think all the visits should have to take place in one single career. If you want to do it that way, then more power to you, but I think a little leeway in this department would be fine since players like to run a couple clubs at once.

I was thinking that forum members who were participating would reply and then edit their reply with the nations/teams they had played against to get their stamp.

So, you're saying to manage a national team and then play against other national teams, gaining stamps as you go along?

Would this be better labelled as a mini-challenge because it would generally be concurrent with whatever major challenges one might undertake?

Well, it doesn't really matter but I guess it is a mini-challenge

I'm looking forward to doing it, but gonna wait for someone else first to see an example of what to do

Perhaps you could do it Matt Some screenies etc showing what you need to do to get a stamp!

I quite like the idea of this one. What I thought you were going to say was to 'gain stamps' for each country you've managed in.

Clearly you'll earn fewer stamps than the way you're suggesting, but it sounds like something that could be added to our signatures.

I have a collection of national flag icons, we could do something like that as the stamps?

I love this idea, it would be simply great fun to do and see how everyone does. The flag icon idea Posh, would be even more perfect.
