Thought we could all set up an online game for FM11 and see who is the best manager. Just applications at the moment to see who would be interested

Hmm, I was thinking some random smaller teams in Europe such as Slavia Prague, Dinamo Kiev etc? Or we could all be bsp teams?

Posh is sorting out his firewall issue, isn't he? If he can do this, this means he will be playing and most likely hosting!

It wouldn't hurt if we all went to different leagues, or manage where we want to. etc.

We cant open too many leagues on a network game with this many people it will just die... Thats why we need to decide on about 2 or 3 at the most leagues to run

It'll probably die just loading one anyway, so might as well go full hog .

I'm happy to manage anywhere, so I'll leave the decisions down to you lot.

Has anyone played a network game on fm11 yet? As i know there were a lot of difficulities last year until the January update came along im hoping its not the same this year.

I started too, but I got very bored of it, but that's just me and FM games

We also tried to start one on here a few months ago, but had problems with Posh's connection, so we didn't bother, which is why he's trying to sort it out in the next day or two, so he can join in and lose miserably, to the best manager the World has ever seen...

So, what time are we looking at to get this started?

We need to see if we can set up the network game, so if a few people are on now we can test it out make sure we can just get straight into it tonight?

Well, I won't be able to test it right now, as I'm preparing my computer to be wiped and re-installed.

Can we all go local teams if this is possible i know me and pringers have cardiff and swansea near us in the championship...


Does anyone else have teams close to them in the championship?

I have Sheffield United and Doncaster Rovers

I have nobody near me in the Championship though So I'd have to go either London club or Pompey and theyre about 2 hours away :L

Yeah looks like its going to have to be that way which is a shame could have had abit more rivalry to it

Random's the only way for me... I don't live anywhere near Championship teams... Ahem, Northern Ireland has a SEA preventing me from calling any championship team LOCAL

I agree, it would've been nice to have been the local sides, but being random is probably the best bet.

Nope Narl, it hasn't started yet, we did plan to start it after Christmas, so we just need to get the starting date right for everyone who's going to play.
