Follow as i try to get Rangers into a good finacial position by getting as far as possible in Europe and all cups and a few wheeling and dealing

My Aims For The Season

  • Gain as much of a profit as possible
  • Retrain a few players to cover positions
  • Atleast 3rd in Group Stage
  • As far as possible in both Scottish Cups
  • Win League
  • Get a few Bargins

I have a very small budget of £0 so for the first season i will be looking for loans and frees. The squad is small so i will be retraining a few players to other positions to cover. There will be no point seling at this moment in time seeing as i get 5% of all money made.

The Positions to get cover for are:

  • a fast striker
  • Centre Midfielder
  • Left Midfielder
  • Left Back

For the 3rd season running Rangers have loaned Macheda from english side Man U. They faced fellow Scottish Opposition Celtic to get him on loan after his performance last year but He decided to come back to the Scottish Giants he loves and one of his favourite personel ME. Rangers boss will be hoping Macheda can live up to last seasons performance and maybe get past 30 goals during his time at the club.

Ireland U21's Hire Redgrave

Days after Don Givens took over Ireland after Giovanni Trapattoni decided to retire, Don Givens has decided t hire current Rangers manager Tommie Redgrave as there U-21's Boss. This is a important role in the Ireland Youth System as this will be the last stop for most Youths whilst being prepared for there full international call up. New Manager Tommie Redgrave will work with players such as Man United's Shane Duffy and Boltons Nathan Rooney. Being half Irish new boss is delighted to spilt his time at Rangers & Ireland U21s. His first game is the last qualifier against Moldova for the Euro U21s. If they win it will depend on Slovenias game on hand whether they go through.

Wylde Leaves as Rangers knocked out

Gregg Wylde has left to Norwich for 220K as Rangers where knocked out by Swiss side Luzern in the champions league. Rangers sufferd a 1-0 defeat at home and managed to pull back from behind to draw 3-3 away but sadly lost out 4-3 on Agg. This means Rangers have been drawn into the 4th Qualifying round of the Europa league and they draw Portugese side Vitoria Sport Club.

Finances

The finances have grown by 8Mil since the end of the season so thats a bonus. All friendlys except the last 3 where taken by Ally McCoist. The last 3 where last minute additions as i felt the squad needed to play together more before the league starts. We have also gained loads of experience for free and they will be vital in tutoring and helping win the league.

Redgrave To Leave??

After only winning 1 out of 6 competertive games Rangers Manager could be on his way out of Ibrox afer he stated he has done all he can done without a cash injection. He was quoted saying "I would love to stay with Rangers and win a european compertition such as the Europa League or Champions League but its simply undo able with more money. We can barley afford the wages of our current players and cant bring in the quality needed to do this."

Will he stay or will he go? Watch This Space For More News!

Ireland u21s hopes of Euro Championships have gone today after a 6-3 loss on Agg to Italy. It was a tough test and Ireland lost 3-1 at home but away returned with a 3-2 loss.

Redgrave Joins Cardiff

football - Football Management - Vanquiish Style - Page 2 2Q==

Redgrave joins Cardiff days after meeting with the owners. Cardiff find themselves in a dissapointing 15th after being relegated from the Premiership last season. They are currently only 8 points off a play off place with 30 games left to go so Promotion can still be easilly reached. Cardiff have 5 wins, 6 draws and 5 losses so far in the campaign

Anthony Gerrard Replaced As Captain

Hours after joining new manager Tommie Redgrave has replaced Anthony Gerrard as captain. He has been given Co Captain behind Jay Bothroyd.

Wow i miss one day and loads happens with this thread lol... Great work with Rangers overall, quite upsetting that you had to walk away from them

Ireland Under 21s well i never even knew you could go for those jobs lol. (could be a good challenge there starting off as a under 21s manager and see if you can get yourself incharge of the full national team)

Bad luck at Cardiff though, bit wierd why you got sacked. No takeovers or anything like that was there?

Redgrave Off To Moscow

Free manager Tommie Redgrave has been seen buying a house in Moscow. We can confirm that he is to manage a club there but no further news has been announced. Early Bets announce people are suggesting Redgrave will be the new boss at Locomotive at the end of the week but most reporters are betting on Spartak.

FC Saturn Moscow Oblast

football - Football Management - Vanquiish Style - Page 2 170px-Saturnlogo

Or otherwise known as Saturn Ramenskoye or just Saturn

Saturn sit 12th after 17 games leaving New manager Tommie Redgrave 13 games left of the season. With it being only 6 days until the window open this will be the first chance for him to show he means business. The rest of the season is going to be used to get to know the team and build my own team. We are predicted 8th and currently 8 points off that position. They are also 11 points away from safety.
